1. Sponsor
The raffle is sponsored by St. John Cancer Fund, a nonprofit organization based in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands (“Sponsor”).
2. Purpose
All proceeds from this raffle support local cancer patients on St. John. All funds raised remain on St. John and are used to provide direct support to patients and their families.
3. Ticket Price
Raffle tickets are available for purchase at:
- $10 per ticket
- 6 tickets for $50
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
4. Ticket Sales Period
Tickets will be sold beginning December 22, 2026 and ending March 29, 2026, or earlier if the raffle is sold out.
Tickets may be purchased:
- Online at samandjacksdeli.com
- In person at designated events and locations
5. Drawing Date
The raffle drawing will take place on March 30, 2026. Winners will be selected at random.
6. Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase.
- The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets or win prizes:
- Members of the St. John Cancer Fund Board
- Allison Gould
- Lacey Dawn Pritchard
- All other individuals are eligible to participate.
Void where prohibited by law.
7. Raffle Structure
This raffle consists of one raffle with two separate drawings:
- Local / Resident Winner Drawing – for eligible St. John residents
- Non-Resident / Visitor Winner Drawing – for eligible non-resident participants
Each drawing will result in one Winner-Take-All prize package.
Eligibility for each drawing is determined by residency status at the time of ticket purchase.
8. Prizes
Each Winner-Take-All prize package includes a bundle of donated items and experiences.
Prizes may include, but are not limited to:
- Accommodations
- Dining experiences
- Gift cards
- Activities or services
Exact prize contents, restrictions, and expiration dates vary by donation. Approximate retail values are estimates only.
One prize will be awarded per winner. No prize substitution or transfer is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s discretion.
9. Prize Restrictions & Expenses
Winners are responsible for:
- Any applicable taxes
- Fees, gratuities, or incidental expenses not explicitly included
- Transportation unless specifically stated
Certain prizes may have blackout dates, expiration dates, or additional restrictions as determined by the donor.
10. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible tickets sold.
11. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. If a winner cannot be reached within a reasonable period, an alternate winner may be selected.
12. Publicity
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes related to the raffle, unless prohibited by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected entries, or technical errors of any kind.
14. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to:
- Modify the raffle or substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary
- Cancel or suspend the raffle in the event of unforeseen circumstances
- Interpret and apply these Official Rules at its sole discretion
15. Acceptance of Rules
Purchase of a raffle ticket constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.
